Founded in 1978 by Dr Sen Gelda, Gleda Scientific is an independent family owned Testing Laboratory, located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. We offer a broad range of Microbiological, Chemical, Nutritional and Environmental testing expertise. Our dedicated team of highly qualified scientists and technicians, have a broad knowledge-base, enabling our staff to solve any problems that may arise.

Originally founded to service the rapidly growing agri-business sector, our fully accredited testing facilities have grown to provide a comprehensive range of quality control and compliance testing, for the Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Environmental, Cosmetic and related Industries.

Our current client base covers the entire spectrum of Food and Beverage Manufacturers: from pasta to bottled water, from hamburger-meat to nutritional-supplements. Fully accredited for testing treated drinking water (under MOE 170/03) we provide services to municipal water treatment systems as well as to private well owners. In the Environmental arena, we test everything from soil samples and effluent samples, to lake and beach water. We also provide testing for the Pharmaceutical Industry, specifically microbiological based tests.
